• Catalina Island Vacation Rentals’ website ranks No. 1 for many terms in Google, Yahoo, and MSN searches. Terms include “Catalina Island Vacation Rentals”, “Catalina Island Condo Rentals”, “Catalina Island Rentals”, and “Avalon CA Rentals”.
• During the first full year tracking was enabled on the site, there were 141,882 visitors. That’s an average of over 11,000 visitors a month, and two months of the year saw more than 17,000 visitors.
• Catalina Island Vacation Rentals’ website continues to enjoy a very low homepage bounce rate. In 2006, the homepage bounce rate average was 19% and the top 10 pages was 25%.
• Typically around 30% to 35% of the traffic coming to the website is from Google.
• Each month, about 70% to 75% of the site’s traffic is first time visitors.
