Domain Name Registration - Blizzard Internet Marketing, Inc. can manage your domain registration ensuring proper setup and renewal or can purchase a brand new domain name on your behalf. Domain names registered by Blizzard are owned by you. Domain names can be purchased in 2, 3, 5, or 9 year intervals at $60, $75, $100, and $135 respectively. The longer you own a domain name, the less risk you run of losing your domain to a competitor and the less billing hassles. Longer domain ownership (greater than 1 year) is also looked upon favorably by major search engines. This service is required in our Enterprise Hosting Plan.
Domain Re-direct – Whether you have purchased additional domain names to protect them from competitors or are using different domains to track various advertising campaigns, Blizzard Internet Marketing, Inc. can assist with the registration and forwarding of these domains to your primary domain hosted with Blizzard. The Domain Re-direct service is included in all of our Hosting Plans.
Sub-domain – A sub-domain is useful to distinguish between distinct areas of your website. For example, “http://newsletter.blizzardinternet.com” is a sub-domain used at Blizzard for our Marketing Newsletter Blog. Other clients have used sub-domains for media rooms, databases, and shopping carts. Sub-domains are included in all of our Hosting Plans.
