Susan Blizzard is the CEO, owner and co-founder of Blizzard Internet Marketing, Inc. Susan graduated from Phillips Andover Academy, earned a BA from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia Business School, graduating with honors at each school. After Columbia, Susan spent 5 years working on “Wall Street” as an investment banker for Prudential and then Oppenheimer & Co. During this time, Susan developed an expertise in corporate finance and management that serves Blizzard well. In addition to all the various roles any small business owner must perform from time to time, Susan’s primary role was Chief Financial Officer from 1997 to 2008. Susan volunteers as the Chairman of the Board for Junior Achievement of the Roaring Fork Valley, and sits on the Colorado Mountain College Advisory Board. She enjoys tennis, skiing and spending time with her 2 kids in the gorgeous Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado.

Daniel Leifeld

Business Development Manager

Originally from Petersburg, Nebraska, Daniel Leifeld started with Blizzard in January, 2012. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2008 and moved to Colorado. Daniel did audio and video production and sold radio advertising before coming to Blizzard. He enjoys spending time with his wife Erin and their dog, Summit. Daniel enjoys officiating football, basketball and baseball. His hobbies include his motor cycle, cars, music, country dancing and watching sports-especially the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Chicago Cubs.

Business Development Manager

Lisa Lilly first started at Blizzard Internet Marketing back in 2008, where after a 2 year stay, the ski industry called her back. Having been with for the 10 years prior, Lisa took the position of Director of Sales with the Colorado Travel Company. After the company sold to, Lisa went back as the Director of Affiliate Products, as well as the web team Agile Coach. Always keeping a close eye on Blizzard happenings and in close touch with many Blizz employees, she decided it was time this past July to settle back in to the Blizzard family. She prides herself in using her extensive background in the hospitality and web marketing industries to help create a comfortable, efficient, and effective experience for Blizzard clients.

A native of the Roaring Fork Valley, Lisa enjoys all the perks and activities of mountain living. Outside of the office you can most likely find her trying to keep up with her twin girls and their sports, skiing, hiking, or watching football. Go Broncos!

Tammy Caughlin

Marketing Project Manager

A native of the Northeast, Tammy was born and raised in New England; graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BS in Environmental Design and ultimately ventured on a whim to Colorado. A love of adventure, sunshine and outdoor activities made the mountains of Colorado the perfect place to work and play. Tammy has a wide range of previous administrative experience: including hospitality and office management, as well as a 2 year stint as an equine therapy program director. In 2011 Tammy started work with Blizzard offering help with client relations in both the hosting and marketing departments and then promptly moved into a full time SEO Expert role. Now a project manager, Tammy still loves Search Engine Optimization and particularly enjoys teaching clients how to develop good website structure and content for users. Successfully applying years of research and process development skills, Tammy strives to simplify the sometimes daunting world of online marketing. Outside of work, Tammy, her husband and their six “kids” (three dogs/ three horses) spend a great deal of time traveling, hiking, camping, hunting and working on their ranch.


Kathy Kappus

Marketing Project Manager

Since 2004, Kathy has been with Blizzard as a Senior Account Manager and Marketing Project Manager. She combines her knowledge of SEO, SEM and User Experience with her understanding of the tourism market to help clients improve their online presence for more conversions. Having developed long-term partnerships with our clients, visiting their regions, and talking to vendors, she understands the challenges our clients face, thus helping them succeed. “Project Management is about the big picture, finding integrated solutions and reaching goals.”
Kathy has many outdoor hobbies related to living in Colorado where she enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as traveling, of course!


Amy Tomasello

Marketing Project Manager

Amy started with Blizzard Internet Marketing in 2006 as a Promotion Specialist and soon moved to Project Management. Amy manages a handful of our Comprehensive clients while assisting in the management of the Marketing Team. Her prior professional career is heavy on customer service and account management. Proving clients quality customer service and performance improvements while working with the amazing Blizzard Team makes coming to work everyday a pleasure.

Born in upstate New York, she began her career in Southern California and moved to Glenwood Springs in 1998. Camping and four-wheeling in the mountains with family and friends with her Jeep Ivanka and dog bear are her favorites things to do on the weekends. Amy swears she’ll never leave the valley.

Danielle Rozga

Originally from Dillon, CO, Danielle holds a degree in Marketing from the Leeds School of Business at CU-Boulder. Danielle has been with the company since 2005, as both a Project Manager and Paid Advertising Manager. Danielle uses her knowledge of search engine marketing to deliver successful results to her clients, and strives to deliver excellent customer service. When not at work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Levi, her son, Hudson, and their pup Winnie.

Todd Chamberlin

Paid Advertising Expert

A Colorado native, Todd has been in digital marketing for over 20 years. Todd has a degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After college Todd worked as a Park Ranger at Rocky & Zion Mountain National Parks. As part of his job he went onto design and develop the first website for Rocky Mountain National Park and starting a website called the Colorado Guide. Todd managed to get AOL and the Denver Post to sponsor the website, and eventually sold the website to National Geographic. National Geographic brought him on board where spent 7 years as Director of eCommerce for National Geographic and consulting with several other clients along the way. In 2006, he and his Partner Corey took a year-in-a-half career break to travel; spending 10 months in Southeast Asia and doing an extensive 6 month road trip of the western U.S. In late 2007, they decided to settle here in Carbondale, Colorado. Outside of his passion for helping small businesses and nonprofits with their digital marketing and strategy needs, Todd enjoys hiking, rafting, skiing, traveling, theatre, volunteering for multiple causes and spending time with Corey and their dog Zeke.

Maria Pavese

SEO Specialist

A born and raised New Yorker, Maria moved to Colorado in 2012 from Sullivan County, NY. She has lived in Vail as well as Fort Collins and is excited to now call the Roaring Fork Valley home. Maria graduated Magna Cum Laude from St John’s University in NYC with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration. Upon moving to CO Maria began gaining experience with Content Management Systems and SEO within youth athletics and later moved to a full-time internet marketing position on the Front Range working with youth summer camps. Her diligence, efficiency, and consistency shine through in all of Maria’s work. When working with client’s Maria’s goal is to not only help the client meet and exceed their goals but to establish a friendly rapport and working relationship. In her free time you can find her hanging with her family, fly fishing, Hulu binging, skiing and dreaming of skiing!


Cristin Barta

Marketing Expert

Shortly after earning a degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver, Cristin was recruited to the Roaring Fork Valley by Blizzard Internet Marketing in 2008. Cristin has always loved surfing the web and planning imaginary vacations, therefore she made an excellent project manager right off the bat. But alas, after five glorious years she left to pursue other avenues in tourism marketing. Cristin spent the next five years promoting the unique Colorado destinations of Snowmass Village and Glenwood Springs.

By 2018 she missed working at the best agency in the biz and decided to return to Blizzard, where she maintains she has always been the most challenged and fulfilled. When Cristin is not working, she enjoys margaritas on the patio, camping, four-wheeling, and heading outside to enjoy beautiful Colorado with her husband and their standard poodle (yes, fancy dogs like camping and four-wheeling too!).


Lauren Widmaier

Social Media & Email Marketing Expert

Originally from Maryland, Lauren moved to Charleston, SC where she graduated from College of Charleston and began her hospitality marketing career.  She gained experience at Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms before joining Charlestowne Hotels where she focused first on Social Media and Email Marketing and then grew into a Marketing Manager role.  She moved to Denver in 2015 and was a marketing consultant and freelance marketer before accepting the Director of Marketing position at Hotel Boulderado, a historic hotel in downtown Boulder, CO.

In the fall of 2017, Lauren heard the mountains calling.  She decided to make the move to the Roaring Fork Valley where she spends her time camping and hiking with her fur baby, Ron.

Eliot Lee

Web Development Project Manager

Eliot is originally from Michigan where he attended Michigan State University and received his BA in Anthropology. He has made the Southwest his home starting with Crested Butte, CO in 1994 and then moved to Flagstaff, Arizona where he received his Masters in Applied Anthropology from Northern Arizona University in 1998. He moved back to Colorado in 1999 and lived in Black Hawk, CO for the past 17 years. He moved to the Roaring Fork Valley in November 2017 to start a new chapter of his life with his loyal canine companion, Gypsy, and pursue his professional passion of web technologies and project management via working at Blizzard.

Eliot is a well-rounded web technologist who has worked in various roles from system administrator to web developer to most recently technical project manager since 1996. His passions lie with managing web projects through their full life cycle from inception to go live focusing on user-centric design and clear communication amongst various parties including clients and internal teams.

When Eliot is not evaluating project requirements, burnout charts, or communicating with clients and team members, he can be found on ski slopes, running up and down steep mountain peaks, or biking on trails. He is an all-around outdoor enthusiast who loves competing in foot races particularly ultra events that are longer than 26.2 miles. For example, one of his recent accomplishments was finishing the Leadville Trail 100 Run in 2017. He has plans to train and compete in other 100 Mile Endurance Runs, including Western States, High Lonesome, Run Rabbit Run, Hard Rock, and Ouray.

Originally from Wisconsin, Nicole has called Colorado home for 15 years. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Colorado State University and has over 9 years experience as a Graphic Designer and Web Designer. Nicole is passionate about both web design and mountains, so Glenwood Springs is the perfect place for her to work and play. As a team member of Blizzard, it is Nicole’s goal to help create beautifully designed websites while maintaining a positive user experience by utilizing the most modern aspects of online marketing. Outside of work, Nicole, her husband Matthew and dogs Bella and Zeus, spend their time playing in the mountains of beautiful Colorado.


Nicole Heisig

Design Project Manager & Web Designer

Nicole has lived in the Roaring Fork Valley since the summer of 1995, which came after just one visit to the valley with her family over Christmas vacation. Nicole first came on board with Blizzard in 2004, where she managed all aspects of client online marketing as one of Blizzard’s Project Managers. She quickly moved into the role of Email Marketing and Web Maintenance Manager and decided in 2010 to take a leave in order to complete and attain her Graphic Design Degree from the local Colorado Mountain College.

Nicole returned in the summer of 2012 as the Social Media Manager, utilizing her marketing and design expertise to help develop the niche and create marketing plans for clients to include the fast growing social networks. Nicole is now where she belongs as a Design Project Manager & Web Designer. With nearly 15 years experience in internet marketing and graphic design Nicole is able to understand the needs of both marketing and design, as well as understand the needs of clients. Outside of work Nicole is the wife to a most awesome husband and a busy mother of three amazing boys and 6 year-old puppy dog! “I love being outdoors, I love being with my family and I love my job!”

BRE Project Manager

Lynn Santomo joined the Blizzard team in 2011 and serves as the Blizzard Reservation Engine (BRE) Project Manager. Her role as Project Manager encompasses a comprehensive array of technical assistance and organization of all aspects of the BRE product delivery. Lynn works closely with Blizzard developers and clients to provide program consultation, testing and training. Prior to joining Blizzard, Lynn has had a successful career as a marketing director and consultant in industries ranging from real estate, water park manufacturing and hospitality. With over 15 years of marketing experience, Lynn’s work has focused on building smart, cohesive communications strategies that integrate advertising, marketing, Internet and public relations, with a proven track record of giving sales teams the tools needed to be successful. Lynn prides herself on implicitly understanding the project at hand, listening to the needs of the client and assisting in the timely delivery of BRE products.

Sam is originally from Atlanta, GA, but she moved to Colorado in 2007 to attend Colorado State University where she earned a B.S. in Physics and minor in Mathematics. After graduating from CSU, she lived in the Vail Valley before traveling overseas for one year learning about sustainable designs and agriculture. She eventually found her way back to the mountains of Colorado and landed with Blizzard. When she is not in her garden in the summer months, she enjoys hiking, skiing, playing soccer, reading, and cooking.

Terry Burkhard

Terry Burkhard

Software Developer

Colorado native (4th generation!) that grew up exploring the state. Terry earned a degree from Mesa College in Grand Junction, majoring in Geology and minoring in Mathematics. He started programming in 1979 part time and has been doing nothing but since 1982. His experience includes Civil Engineering systems, Doppler Radar DB’s, Process Plant CAD systems, Text Search & Retrieval, Financial Market Trading systems, CAD operator in steel fabrication shop, automotive dealership inventory systems… Joined Blizzard in 2012 as a contractor, and as an employee in 2013. Avid motorcyclist (part time tour guide), mtn biking, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, gardening, cooking. Spending time outdoors with my daughters as often as possible.

Raised in the local Roaring Fork Valley, Tish moved to Fort Collins, CO, to attend Colorado State University. Upon returning to Western Colorado, Tish worked as a Software Support Technician for an analytic software development company from 1994 – 2001 where she gained much respect and knowledge of the trading markets. As a member of the Blizzard Internet Marketing team since 2001, Tish now enjoys the challenges of managing the Hosting and IT services. Tish is a proud mother of four children. She and her husband enjoy the winter seasons coaching the area Buddy Werner Ski Racing Team at the local resort, Sunlight Ski Resort. Their summers are filled with rafting the Roaring Fork, Colorado, and Gunnison rivers. In her spare time, Tish enjoys reading, hiking, running, biking, and camping.
